Laird’s Academy Re-Opening Protocol

What you will need to bring to class

1)    A small towel to wipe off any sweat that you build up.

2)    Water, or bottles can be purchased at the school. *The drinking fountain will NOT be available

3)    Whatever hand sanitizer you prefer, or some will be provided by the school

4)    A mask, but you can take it off when you are in your section working out.

Before arriving at the School 10 minutes early

1)    Make sure you don’t have a fever or any symptoms of being sick. Unfortunately you will be turned away if you do. We have a digital thermometer we can use to make sure you are safe to train.

2)    You must be wearing shoes when arriving at the school. When in class a full uniform or the pants and a Laird’s Tshirt (or plain black or white Tshirt) are still required.

What’s going to be different?

1)    You must use hand sanitizer before entering the school and when leaving it

2)    Everybody will have their own section of mat taped off that they must stay inside. All your belongings must go inside that space during training. If you are sheltering in place together then you can all use each other’s spaces and hold targets for each other

3)    There will be no seating or spectators, even parents, during class.

4)    At the end of class each student will stay 10 minutes and wipe down their section of mat with a rag and cleaning solution provided by the school. All other cleaning and sanitizing will be handled by Laird’s staff.

Tuition

1)    Tuition will now be paid with a credit/debit card system through PayPal with automatic billing, or done with cash. Special circumstances can be arranged if absolutely necessary.

2)     If you are enrolled then you will have access to the video classes for FREE. You can choose just to do the online classes if you prefer. Private lessons are also available for $80/hour to supplement the online training choice.
